This interactive course prepares clinicians for the multidisciplinary Obstetric and Neonatal Quality and Safety Certification (C-ONQS) offered by the National Certification Corporation (NCC). Through a series of case studies, interactive knowledge checks, videos, and brief post-tests, learners will review quality and safety concepts in the obstetric and neonatal areas. Concepts include tools evaluation and data collection, threats to patient safety and strategies for positive change, review of Donabedian’s Dimensions of Quality and application to the clinical setting, ethical principles related to caring for all patients, and more.
