The newly updated Antepartum Fetal Assessment Education Course will provide nurses and clinicians working in the antepartum and ambulatory settings with a course that includes antenatal testing, creating a welcoming and inclusive clinical environment, and fetal monitoring interpretation. Course participants will gain an increased understanding of the physiologic principles of maternal-fetal oxygenation as related to antenatal assessment of fetal well-being. Using a case-based approach, participants will have the opportunity to determine the steps in the clinical plan of care and interpretation of fetal monitoring tracings.
