Description: Please join the Disability Special Interest Group on May 12th at 7pm EDT / 6pm CDT / 5pm MDT / 4 pm PDT for an evening with Maggie Runyon, PHD (c), RNC-OB, C-EFM, CYT-500, founding director of Your Birth Partners and author of "I thought I was here to help" as we explore resources for mitigating trauma in perinatal nurses. Information on nervous system regulation and how to incorporate mindfulness into daily practice will be presented. Special Interest Groups are free and open to all AWHONN members, but registration for meetups is required. Please register by May 10. The meeting login information will be emailed to all registrants on May 11. No CNE/NCPD contact hours will be provided.
