MA AWHONN, the New England Regional Black Nurses Association (NERBNA) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Division of Nursing invite you to a free screening of Shift Film’s “Everybody’s Work: Healing What Hurts Us All.”
Nurses and patients of color are having a different experience in healthcare, in nursing school, and at the bedside than their white counterparts.
“Everybody’s Work” examines the hidden disease plaguing healthcare in the United States: structural racism. Through the lens of fearless nurses, this documentary not only exposes the biases that result in worse healthcare outcomes for people of color, but it captures the painful impact they have — both on patients and nurses.
Learn more about these issues and how to make a difference by joining us for screening of "Everybody's Work: Healing What Hurts Us All". There will be a 30-minute panel discussion followed by a reception with light snacks and drinks after the show.
