This two day conference will be held at the San Jose Marriott on February 4 and 5, 2023 and will focus on the educational needs of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. We are excited to meet in person, but also have a virtual option available. Our program consists of several hot topics, like Diabetes, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Cardiovascular Disease, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Resilience and more. The program will be presented by amazing speakers and include Rose Horton, Julie Vasher, Dr Stephanie Martin, Heretha Hankins and many more! 11 Continuing Education Hours will be available. For the agenda, and more information click HERE.


Objectives include:

-Discuss the impact of advocacy, innovation and resilience in the current state for reproductive health.

-Identify essential aspects of respectful care in maternity care settings.

-Analyze how to improve the experience for birthing people in maternity care settings.


In addition to the conference, there will be three pre conference options available on Feb 3rd.

0800-1200 - AWHONN Staffing Standards - 3 continuing education hours available

1300-1700 - Education, Quality and Policy Development (Target audience - managers, educators and charge nurses) - 3 continuing education hours available

1300-1700 - Student and newly graduated Perinatal, L&D, Mother Baby, OB and NICU nurses
