AWHONN will host a virtual public policy conference and lobby day from March 28 to March 29, 2022 to advance legislation to promote the health of women and newborns.

Format
Monday, March 28 will be a full day of virtual briefings to prepare you to meet with members of Congress or their staff. You will be thoroughly briefed on up to three bills (to be determined) by AWHONN staff and other policy experts. There will also be training in how to lobby and a thorough briefing of logistics for the lobby day on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, March 29 AWHONN staff will have made virtual appointments for you with each of the three members of your Congressional delegation and will provide you with your unique schedule of meetings. We will also provide you with talking points. You should expect to have about a 20 to 30-minute meeting with each office.
