Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is a potentially life-threatening condition affecting women in pregnancy or the postpartum period. Recognition of maternal risk factors including presenting signs and symptoms of this condition allow for development of care management practices and interventions to improve maternal outcomes.
