Jill Henkle has a passion for rural health. She has spent 28 yrs working as a critical access nurse in L&D, mother-baby, nursery, ER, & med/surg units. She has also worked as OB manager in a rural critical access hospital for 1 Oyrs & for the past 3 yrs, she has been lead for the Iowa Statewide Mobile Simulation Team. In the past, she has presented at both state & national AWHONN conventions & has been published in the Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology journal.
This is our first of many future Rural SIG meetings where we will present topics relating specifically to rural health while also giving our members an opportunity to network and share information.
