Cross-Racial Dialogue on Microaggressions
California Chapter leaders, Katrina Johnson of The LA Valley AWHONN Chapter and Becca Licha of the Santa Barbara & Ventura Counties AWHONN Chapter invite you our second Joint Chapter Meeting. This series of meetings is focused on addressing implicit bias in healthcare, racial health disparities and the Maternal Mortality Crisis. At our next meeting, we will define "Microaggressions," watch a few short videos and hear from nurses on their lived experiences. Then, we will open it up to a live discussion. We welcome members from any AWHONN chapter. We start at 7PM Pacific time. Please bring an open mind and a desire for honest, meaningful conversation.
