We will review the overall services and resources provided by the Education team at NEMSD.
Presenters:
- Rebecca Chivers, BA, Director of Professional Development & Business Manager
- Rebecca has been with NEMSD since its inception in various roles. She has been instrumental in the growth and development of the NEMSD Education Unit. Rebecca is the member who manages to the day to activities of the organization.
- Mackenzie Johnson, MSN, RN, Professional Development Specialist
- Mackenzie joined the NEMSD Education team in June 2023. She is the Primary Nurse Planner for the Community College of Rhode Island'd nursing professional development program where she is the Program Director of Healthcare Initiatives.
- Lisa Preston, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, Accredited Approver-Provider Program Director
- Lisa joined the NEMSD in March of 2022 joined the NEMSD in March of 2022. She has previously been the Primary Nurse Planner for an academic medical center in Boston, MA, where she spent over 25 years of her nursing career with the last 15 years as a Clinical Educator and Professional Development Manager.
