Join us for a Day at the Colorado State Capitol!
We are excited to share the opportunity to meet with local Colorado legislators to discuss concerns for Women's Health and to learn about the process of passing a Bill. We will also get to tour the Capitol and see the House and Senate process!

Tentative Schedule for the day:
0800: Meet at Fire Restaurant & Lounge for Breakfast (included) and Networking
ART Hotel 1201 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203
0900: Walk over to the Capitol (about a 9min walk/0.4 miles)
0930-1030: Meeting with CO Legislators to learn about how a bill becomes a law 101
1030-1200: Sit in on the House and Senate Floor proceeding
12-1330 Lunch Break (BYO Lunch or there is a Deli in the building or local restaurants..)
1330-1430(ish): Sit in on the Health Care Committee Meetings; Testify on behalf of AWHONN if there are pertinent bills.
