AWHONN will host a virtual public policy conference and lobby day on March 22 and 23, 2021, to advance legislation to promote the health of women and newborns.
Register by filling out the form below. Registration is a non-refundable $99, which includes briefings and appointments made for you with staff representatives of your U.S. representative and U.S. senators. You will have up to three meetings on March 23. You should be prepared to be available for meetings at anytime between 8 am and 5:30 pm ET.
Format
Monday, March 22, will be a full day of briefings to prepare you to meet with members of Congress or their staff. You will be thoroughly briefed on up to three bills (to be determined) by AWHONN staff and other policy experts. There will also be a thorough briefing of logistics for the lobby day on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, March 23, AWHONN staff will have made appointments for you with each of the three members of your Congressional delegation. We will provide you with your unique schedule of meetings with appointment times and access details (phone or Zoom) for each. We will also provide you with talking points. You should expect to have about a 20 to 30-minute meeting with each office.
